Micro Salon on Hope&Despair

  • På Bukkenbjerggaard i landsbyen Humble Langeland Denmark (map)

This micro salon takes place at the private home of author Gertrude Kiel and boatbuilder Mikkel Pagh. Gertrude is the author of Tidsjagten and Videnskabshistorier for børn. Her daily life is a deep and immersive exploration of creative processes, the history of science, slow living, poetry, and reconnecting with nature. She also works with various forms of craftsmanship, such as hand-printed wallpapers. Mikkel excels in teaching traditional boatbuilding techniques. Together, they are renovating their old farm, Bukkensbjerggård, where the micro salon will take place.

The farm is located near the breathtaking Ristinge Klint — so it’s well worth making a day of it and combine the salon with a hike.

There are great chances to get a ride with one of the other guests to get there.
